Ultra-High-Resolution 3D Video and Spatial Audio
Creating an Environment as if Standing in the Center of the Stage
Apple will release the 'GO!' video, featuring a performance by rookie group Cortiz, as Apple Vision Pro content on January 16.
This project showcases a K-pop group's performance produced with Apple Immersive technology, offering a viewing experience where audiences can experience the artists' movements in the most three-dimensional and realistic way possible.
Cortiz is a team that has drawn attention for their choreography, co-created by all members, and their overwhelming performances. The performance of 'GO!' visually embodies the intense power of the track. With Apple's technology, Cortiz's performance delivers a more direct sense of distance from the artists, depth of movement, and live atmosphere than traditional 2D videos.
Apple Immersive Video is a media format that captures even the slightest facial expressions of the members using ultra-high-resolution 3D video. Through spatial audio, it recreates everything from the sound of footsteps on the practice room floor to the members' breathing.
Utilizing 3D video recorded in 8K with a 180-degree field of view, the content creates an environment where viewers feel as if they are standing in the center of the stage, allowing them to witness fast choreography, transitions, and group formations up close. Viewers can fully experience the energy of the performance as if they were actually present.
Cortiz's performance video will be available for free on the Apple TV app for Apple Vision Pro starting at 11:00 a.m. (Korea Standard Time) on January 16.
