Gwangju University announced on January 15 that Jinhee Kim, Employment Support Specialist at the university's Career Plus Center, recently received a commendation from the Minister of Employment and Labor in recognition of her contributions to promoting youth employment.
Consultant Jinhee Kim has led the university's Career Center project for seven years, integrating and connecting fragmented employment support functions and infrastructure by establishing a comprehensive career and employment education system at Gwangju University. She also contributed to strengthening the university's specialized one-stop employment support services for youth by establishing a system that links youth policies, thereby supporting young people in entering the labor market.
The Gwangju University Career Plus Center provides career and employment support services-including counseling, extracurricular programs, and connections to youth employment policies-to current students, graduates, and local youth.
Shin Chunwoo, Professor of Accounting and Taxation and Director of the Career Plus Center, stated, "This award recognizes the expertise of our university's consultants. Moving forward, we will continue to expand employment support services for current students and local youth to further enhance the job competitiveness of job seekers."
