The workshop featured field-oriented educational programs, such as Korean language teaching methods tailored to different levels and purposes, educational directions linked to regional policies in Jeonnam, classroom management know-how, and strategies for managing learners. These sessions were well received by the participants.
In particular, a preliminary survey was conducted to share the challenges instructors face in the classroom, and time was set aside for a Q&A session and open discussion to explore practical solutions.
Hong Seongi, Director of the Office of International Cooperation, stated, "This workshop is a program designed to fulfill the role of Mokpo National University as the designated Korean Language Center for the western Jeonnam region. We hope it will serve as an opportunity to strengthen cooperation among local universities and systematically raise the quality of Korean language education for international students."
Meanwhile, Mokpo National University continues to advance its Korean language education programs, enhance instructor competencies, and develop regionally connected educational initiatives to strengthen education and support for international students.
