According to Hanam City on January 15, the Pledge Implementation Evaluation Team, consisting of citizens, held a meeting in the main building situation room of City Hall on this day and shared the progress of pledge projects over the past three years. This meeting was organized to transparently review the implementation status of major ongoing pledge projects.

As a result of the evaluation, it was confirmed that Hanam City, during its 8th term, had completed 100 out of a total of 122 pledge projects as of the end of December 2025.

Major completed projects include the steady progress of the Subway Line 3 extension project, the integration of the Meeting Square Transfer Center with Line 3 and the old downtown area, the establishment of the Hanam-style school zone, the opening of hiking trails on Cheonmasan and Geumamsan Mountains, and the creation of the eco-friendly trail around Geomdansan Mountain.

During the meeting, the team also shared updates and reviewed future tasks for key issues that have drawn significant public interest, such as the construction of a new swimming pool in the Wirye area, the development of the Dongnam-ro connecting road, the establishment of the K-Culture Complex (K-Star World) and Camp Colburn, the pre-construction of infrastructure for Gyosan New Town, the extension of the Wirye-Sinsa Line to Hanam, and the creation of the Hanam Office of Education.

Mayor Lee Hyunjae stated, "It was a meaningful occasion to share the achievements of the past three years with citizens and to discuss together the tasks that remain to be completed," adding, "We will ensure that the remaining pledge projects are carried out thoroughly and to a high standard, fulfilling our promises to citizens to the very end."

Meanwhile, Hanam City was recognized for the credibility of its pledge implementation by receiving an Excellent (A) grade in the '2025 National Basic Local Government Head Pledge Implementation and Information Disclosure Evaluation' organized by the Korea Manifesto Center.
