RXC, the operator of the retail media platform PRIZM, led by CEO Yuhanik, announced that it successfully completed the Popularity Award voting and global digital live broadcast for the '40th Golden Disc Awards with Upbit,' held at the Taipei Dome in Taiwan on January 10. The 'Golden Disc Upbit Popularity Award' voting, conducted exclusively through the PRIZM app, recorded a cumulative total of approximately 48 million votes, demonstrating the explosive enthusiasm of K-pop fandoms worldwide. This fervor continued through the digital live broadcast, which achieved a cumulative viewership of 5.04 million.

Since its inaugural event in 1986, the Golden Disc Awards has established itself as the most prestigious music awards ceremony in Korea, recognized as 'the most coveted award among artists' thanks to its objective metrics and fair evaluation. Marking its 40th anniversary this year, the ceremony featured top-tier artists such as MONSTA X, Stray Kids, IVE, ALLDAY PROJECT, and Jennie, who delivered spectacular performances that captivated global fans.

For the third consecutive year, PRIZM has demonstrated its unrivaled technological capabilities by reliably managing the global digital live broadcast and Popularity Award voting for this major awards show. The event's stature was further elevated by the participation of Upbit, Korea's leading digital asset exchange, as the title sponsor.

PRIZM vividly conveyed the excitement of the event, from the red carpet to the main ceremony, to an online audience, eliciting an explosive response from a cumulative 5.04 million global viewers. In particular, PRIZM's proprietary technology enabled ultra-high-definition and ultra-high-fidelity live streaming, breaking the constraints of time and space to deliver the local excitement in real time and provide an immersive experience. Additionally, real-time subtitles in six languages, including English, Japanese, and Chinese, maximized viewing convenience for fans around the world. As a result, the event was praised for breaking down barriers of nationality and language, creating a truly global festival where fans could connect in real time.

This year, special attention from global fans was focused on the recipient of the 'Global Impact Award with PRIZM.' The Global Impact Award with PRIZM is presented to an artist who has significantly elevated the status of K-pop and contributed to the growth of K-culture worldwide, with CEO Yuhanik personally presenting the award at the venue. The honor went to Jennie, a global artist who has had the greatest impact on fans around the world.

In addition, the Golden Disc Upbit Popularity Award voting, conducted exclusively through the PRIZM app, set a new record with a total of 47,676,748 cumulative votes, once again proving the explosive power of the global fandom. Over the approximately two-week voting period, top artists were nominated, and the results saw Jin of BTS and Hearts2Hearts win the male and female popularity awards, respectively.

PRIZM is a retail media platform operated by RXC, founded by Yuhanik, former chairman of TMON. PRIZM has established itself as a unique media partner that unites K-culture fandoms by successfully securing exclusive global broadcasts of Korea's most prestigious awards shows. For example, during the broadcast of the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards, PRIZM attracted 3.8 million viewers and 22.2 million Popularity Award votes. With its proven technological prowess and high-sensitivity, high-definition content curation for major events, PRIZM has surpassed a cumulative viewership of 15.5 million, presenting a new paradigm in the retail media market. Furthermore, PRIZM has conducted unrivaled live promotions in luxury hotel and premium overseas travel sectors, achieving more than threefold growth last year and surpassing an annual transaction volume of 150 billion won.

Yuhanik, CEO of PRIZM, stated, "It was meaningful to provide global viewers with PRIZM's unique immersive experience through this awards ceremony," adding, "We will continue to combine PRIZM's technological capabilities with major media events to further solidify our leadership as a retail media platform in the global K-culture market."
