This project is Hallym University's unique "full-cycle support program," which goes beyond simple financial aid to discover promising companies and support them throughout the entire process, including preliminary diagnosis, market validation, and follow-up investment connections. Last year, the university selected and supported a total of 36 promising startups, contributing to the revitalization of the local startup ecosystem. This year, approximately 30 companies will be selected in the first half of the year to continue this support.
The purpose of this support project is to help promising startups achieve tangible results and to establish a foundation for regional self-reliance. Eligible applicants include startups and prospective entrepreneurs based in Chuncheon that have been established for less than seven years, companies that have relocated or plan to relocate to Chuncheon from other regions, and companies seeking investment connections.
Selected companies will undergo a preliminary detailed diagnosis and, depending on their growth stage (Gold, Diamond, Titanium), can receive up to 150 million KRW in commercialization support funds. These funds can be used for all processes necessary for market validation, including prototype production, market testing, and promotional marketing.
The project procedure consists of: ▲ Recruitment and application (until 2/3) ▲ First-stage selection evaluation (document review) ▲ Preliminary detailed diagnosis ▲ Second-stage selection evaluation (presentation). The final selected companies will receive full-scale commercialization support from April to December this year.
Park Dujai, Head of the Startup Support Center at Hallym University, stated, "Based on the full-cycle system validated by supporting 36 companies in 2025, we will provide even more systematic and comprehensive support this year to ensure that local companies can secure a definite competitive edge in the market."
Companies wishing to participate can apply via the QR code on the poster or through the online Google Form.
