Kumoh National Institute of Technology to Hold 'KIT Performance Sharing Forum' on the 20th

Awards and Sharing of Best Practices from the National University Development Project
Participation from Kyungpook National University, Kyungwoon University, and Gumi University

Kumoh National Institute of Technology (Acting President Kim Jongbok) will hold the 'KIT Performance Sharing Forum' on January 20 at Hotel Kumo Mountain in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province, to discuss the current status of university performance management and strategies for responding to rapidly changing environments.


Organized by the IR Center of Kumoh National Institute of Technology, this forum aims to explore the development direction of performance management systems in the AI era, share the current status and best practices of university performance management, and establish a foundation for information exchange and cooperation among universities.

Approximately 100 participants, including those in charge of financial support projects and student participants from four local universities-Kumoh National Institute of Technology, Kyungpook National University, Kyungwoon University, and Gumi University-will attend to re-examine the meaning and value of university performance and share outstanding cases from each institution.


The detailed schedule includes Part 1, which will feature presentations on the current status of university performance management and best practices from local universities, followed by Part 2, which will consist of an awards ceremony for the National University Development Project Essay Contest and presentations of best practices from the National University Development Project.


Meanwhile, at the invited lecture on the same day, Baek Seungjoo, Senior Research Fellow at the Korea Educational Development Institute, will deliver a special lecture on the importance of university performance management and directions for system development under the theme of 'Development Directions for Performance Management Systems in the AI Era.'
