Meanwhile, regarding the management of household chemical products, Prime Minister Kim emphasized, "Safety and health are the most important policy priorities," and continued, "As we learned from the humidifier disinfectant disaster, there must be no gaps whatsoever in both accident prevention and post-incident response when it comes to managing chemicals in daily life." He went on to say, "We will establish a safety management system covering all stages from the manufacturing and distribution of chemical products to consumer use. We will promptly implement product approval and management procedures, and comprehensively review various aspects, including risks, to ensure that policies operate rationally in the field."

During the meeting, the government's '2026 National Policy Promotion Strategy' was also discussed. Prime Minister Kim urged, "The completion of a policy lies in its promotion," and added, "With the mindset that 'a policy that is not promoted is not complete,' I ask that you start by transparently disclosing the policy decision-making process, communicate effectively with the public, and strengthen promotional capabilities to raise the level of national policy promotion."
