This training was conducted in accordance with Article 29 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the resolutions of the 10th Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education Occupational Safety and Health Committee. Its purpose was to strengthen the ability to respond to industrial accidents that may occur during cooking work and to foster a culture of voluntary safety through the acquisition of knowledge and skills related to safety and health.

The training program featured instructors from the Korea Industrial Safety Association and the Yeongnam Trauma Center, as well as Park Chanbyung, an official from the Education Safety Division of the Gyeongsangbuk-do Office of Education, who has delivered numerous lectures on industrial safety and health education. The sessions covered: ▲ industrial accident cases and compensation procedures ▲ kitchen accident cases and emergency response ▲ understanding trauma and stress management techniques.

Min Byungdo, Superintendent of the Gumi Office of Education, stated, "When meal service workers work with pride in a safe environment, healthier meals can be provided to our children. Moving forward, we will continue to strengthen on-site safety and health systems to create an educational environment where both workers and all students can feel secure."
