Apply for Naver Pay Offline Integrated Terminal at iM Bank Branches

"Strengthening Synergy for Local Currency Revitalization"

Naver Pay announced on January 14 that applications for the offline integrated terminal, 'Naver Pay Connect,' are now being accepted at iM Bank branches.

Customers can receive consultation and apply for Naver Pay Connect in a one-stop process at iM Bank branches.

With Naver Pay Connect, users can utilize a variety of payment methods, including local currencies such as Daegu-ro Pay and Pohang Sarang Card. The Smart Place feature also allows for store reviews and promotional activities.

Naver Pay and iM Bank have been collaborating since 2024 to promote the use of local currencies.

In December of last year, 42% of new Daegu-ro Pay subscribers and 40% of new Pohang Sarang Card subscribers registered their local currency with Naver Pay.

The two companies plan to operate information and promotional channels for Naver Pay Connect, targeting local merchants in Daegu, Pohang, and other regions.

A Naver Pay representative stated, "We will continue to work with iM Bank to ensure that Naver Pay Connect plays a positive role in revitalizing local currencies and local businesses in Daegu and Pohang."
