From Self-Driving Cars to the Hyperloop!
An Interactive Science and Arts Performance
Free Admission for All
From self-driving cars to the Hyperloop! The National Science Museum of Busan is launching a new children's science musical to kick off the new year.
On January 14, the National Science Museum of Busan announced that it will present the science musical "All Aboard to the Future! Grand Mobility Adventure" as the new performance for the 2026 Sunday Science Theater, starting on January 18.
This performance is a family-oriented science show that introduces future mobility technologies such as self-driving cars, the Hyperloop, and Urban Air Mobility (UAM) in a way that is accessible to children. It is designed as an interactive, multidisciplinary performance that explains scientific principles through songs, choreography, and videos.
The show runs for about 20 minutes and will be held every Sunday from January 18 to April 26, three times a day (11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m.) in the first-floor conference hall of the National Science Museum of Busan. Admission is free. Tickets can be reserved online or obtained via a self-service ticketing machine on the day of the performance.
Song Samjong, Director of the National Science Museum of Busan, stated, "Science is not just about imagining the future, but about building it through learning. I hope this performance inspires children to develop an interest in science and technology."
The National Science Museum of Busan operates permanent exhibition halls linked to major industries in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam regions, including automobiles, aviation, space, ships, and energy. On January 20, it will unveil the newly revamped Automobile Zone in Permanent Exhibition Hall 1, featuring hands-on content about future mobility technologies.
