[Today’s New Product] Daesang Jongga Launches "Bomdong Geotjeori"

Seasonal Limited Edition
Made Exclusively with 100% Korean Agricultural Ingredients

On January 14, Daesang announced that its kimchi brand Jongga is launching a new seasonal specialty kimchi, "Bomdong Geotjeori," made with in-season bomdong cabbage.


The new "Bomdong Geotjeori" is a freshly mixed kimchi that uses in-season bomdong cabbage and Jongga’s unique expertise to blend it with freshly prepared seasoning. Domestically grown bomdong cabbage, compared to regular napa cabbage, has a yellower core and smaller leaves. It stores sugar throughout the cold winter, resulting in a mildly sweet and savory flavor, as well as a crisp texture. When eaten immediately, you can enjoy the fresh, naturally sweet and savory taste of bomdong cabbage, and after a short period of fermentation, it develops a refreshing and rich umami flavor.

Not only the main ingredient, bomdong cabbage, but also all other ingredients such as red pepper powder and garlic are carefully selected from 100% Korean agricultural products. The product is packaged in a PET container for added convenience in storage.


"Bomdong Geotjeori" is currently available at the Jongga Naver Brand Store, Baemin B Mart, Gmarket, and other platforms, and will be gradually introduced to various online channels in the future.
