The target for securing national and provincial funds in 2027 is set at 415 billion won, an increase of 18 billion won (4.6%) compared to the initial 2026 budget.

To achieve this, the city plans to make frequent visits to South Gyeongsang Province, central government ministries, and the National Assembly to build consensus on the necessity of major pending projects, while maintaining close cooperation with local members of the National Assembly, making every effort to secure national and provincial funds.

In addition, the city will continue to identify projects that align with central and provincial government policies and fit Sacheon's development strategy, and will expedite preliminary administrative procedures to ensure that major projects can be implemented without delay.

Mayor Park Dongsik emphasized, "I ask that all administrative resources be focused on ensuring that key projects driving regional development are fully reflected in the government budget through thorough preparation and strategic response, so that these efforts lead to tangible results felt by our citizens."
