On January 13, a post titled "Daegu Haidilao Cha Eunwoo Who's All the Rage These Days" was uploaded to an online community.

The released video shows a male employee at the Haidilao in Daegu performing the "Kung Fu Noodles" show. Kung Fu Noodles are hand-pulled noodles offered at Haidilao, served with a performance where the employee pulls the noodles in an acrobatic manner.

Some online users commented that the male employee's distinct facial features reminded them of Cha Eunwoo.

On social networking services, posts about the employee have continued to appear, with comments such as "Meeting Cha Eunwoo at Daegu Haidilao" and "I’m going to Daegu to see the Cha Eunwoo at Haidilao."

As the video went viral, a variety of reactions poured in from online users. Comments included, "He really does look like Cha Eunwoo," "At first, I thought it was edited," and "If I go to Haidilao, I’ll end up just looking at his face instead of eating hot pot." Others remarked, "This will be huge for the store’s publicity," "Does Haidilao hire noodle pullers based on looks?" and "I’m going to see ‘Myeon Eunwoo’ (Noodle Eunwoo)."

Haidilao Daegu, which opened in December last year as the first branch in Daegu, initially attracted attention. Recently, stories about an employee who resembles Cha Eunwoo have spread across online and local communities, leading to an increase in visitors hoping to see him, and reportedly resulting in even longer wait times. One user shared, "There were about 100 people waiting, so I had to wait more than 180 minutes, and at one point, entry was temporarily suspended. It looks like it will be even busier during the upcoming holiday."
