On January 12, NH Nonghyup Bank Jeonnam Headquarters awarded appointment letters to 24 newly hired Grade 6 employees from the region at the Jeonnam Headquarters auditorium, celebrating and supporting the energetic first steps of these new staff members.
The newly hired employees are local talents who either reside in Jeonnam or graduated from schools located in Jeonnam. After the appointment ceremony, they will be assigned to branches and begin their first day of work.
Subsequently, they will receive one-on-one job mentoring from senior employees, gaining a variety of work experiences and know-how to develop their capabilities as bankers.
Jang Jaeyoung, Head of Jeonnam Headquarters, stated, "In 2026, an era of change and challenge, I am reassured to be with you and sincerely welcome your new beginning." He added, "I hope you adapt well by communicating with your colleagues at your assigned offices, maintaining the passion and collaborative spirit of new employees." He also emphasized, "To address youth unemployment and promote mutual growth through revitalizing the local economy, we will prioritize hiring local talents at the city and provincial level and fulfill our role as the region’s representative bank."
NH Nonghyup Bank has hired 565 people nationwide through an open recruitment process to fulfill its social responsibility. Since September of last year, the bank has conducted open recruitment using a blind hiring method, placing no restrictions on age, gender, academic background, or major.
