Through this agreement, both parties will join forces for the research and development of wearable robots for seniors and for policy support. They also agreed to expand personnel exchanges and continuously identify new collaborative projects for mutual development.

Fashion Group Hyungji plans to utilize its nationwide distribution network of over 2,000 outlets to distribute the products and provide hands-on, on-site training.

The Korea Senior Citizens Association will be responsible for connecting eligible recipients and promoting the initiative through its nationwide network of local chapters. Starting with the Incheon Metropolitan Chapter, they plan to gradually expand the pilot distribution program nationwide.

Through this agreement, Hyungji aims to communicate with the primary target group who will wear the wearable robots, thereby accelerating the optimization of product functions, design, and services. Last year, Hyungji completed a new trademark application for "hyungjiROBOTICS" under Hyungji Elite, and has finished developing a prototype, aiming for release in the second half of this year.

A representative from Fashion Group Hyungji stated, "This agreement is significant in that it enables us to establish broader contact points with senior customers who will actually use the robots," adding, "We expect that combining Hyungji's senior-focused distribution network with the Korea Senior Citizens Association's local chapter network will create even stronger synergy for the senior robot distribution project."
