Icheon City Offers Support for Old Slate Demolition and Roof Improvement... Applications Accepted Until February 20

This year, the project will support the demolition of slate from 153 buildings, roof improvements for 17 buildings, totaling 170 buildings.

The slate demolition and disposal support is available for residential and non-residential buildings (such as warehouses and livestock sheds) that use slate as roofing or wall material. For residential buildings, the maximum support amount is 7 million won, with priority given to small-scale houses within the range of 3.52 million won per building. For non-residential buildings such as warehouses and livestock sheds, support is available up to 5.4 million won per building.

The roof improvement project provides support of up to 5 million won, with priority given to small-scale houses within the range of 3 million won per building. However, if the number of applicants exceeds the available support, partial self-payment may be required.

Interested applicants should refer to the notices and announcements section on the Icheon City Hall website and apply in person at their local community center or the Environmental Protection Division at City Hall. For more details, inquiries can be made at the Administrative Welfare Center or the Environmental Protection Division at City Hall.

If there are many applicants, the city plans to select recipients based on priority, considering factors such as income level, vulnerable housing groups, the age of the house, and urgency.
