A Bloody Romance Entwined with Insurance Fraud

Love Her and Die... Park Minyoung and Wi Hajoon Team Up in "Siren" Drama 'Siren' still cut

The Siren, a mythical creature from Greek mythology, lured sailors to their deaths with her beautiful singing voice. That deadly temptation is being revived as a modern-day mystery melodrama.

On January 13, tvN announced that its new Monday-Tuesday drama "Siren," starring Park Minyoung and Wi Hajoon, will premiere on March 2 at 8:50 p.m. The series follows a bizarre insurance fraud case in which every man who loved a particular woman has died without exception. It is a suspenseful romance that unfolds as a woman, the prime suspect, becomes entangled with a man determined to uncover the truth.

Park Minyoung plays Han Seola, an art auctioneer. She captivates those around her with her striking looks and provocative aura, yet is always shadowed by the specter of death. She is, quite literally, a "living Siren" whose love inevitably leads to disaster.

Wi Hajoon takes on the role of Cha Useok, the ace investigator on the insurance fraud team who is pursuing her. While he probes into the dark side of the case with a cool head, he finds himself drawn to Han Seola, the subject of his investigation, and becomes caught in a dilemma.

The drama revolves around the central question: "Will you catch the criminal, or fall in love?" It pits a predator who tempts while hiding the truth against a pursuer who cannot let go of suspicion yet walks willingly into the trap. The intricate psychological warfare and dangerous chemistry between the two leads are expected to be the main highlights of the show.
