Changwon Special City in Gyeongnam held an appointment ceremony for nine newly selected members of the Changwon Municipal Boys and Girls Choir.

The recruitment for new members accepted applications from November 17 to December 10, followed by a document screening and a practical audition on December 15, resulting in the final selection of nine members.

With the addition of the new members appointed on January 12, the Changwon Municipal Boys and Girls Choir now consists of a total of 51 members. Going forward, they will continue to develop their musical talents through regular weekly rehearsals and enhance their artistic skills by participating in regular concerts and various exchange music events.

Je Jungwon, Head of the Department of Culture and Arts, said, "I sincerely welcome you as members of the Changwon Municipal Boys and Girls Choir. Since its founding, the choir has moved Changwon citizens with beautiful harmonies and contributed to the development of local performing arts. Meanwhile, the Changwon Municipal Boys and Girls Choir serves as a cultural ambassador representing Changwon, promoting 'Changwon, the City of Culture and Arts' both domestically and internationally, and playing a leading role in the development of youth culture and the arts.
