Located on the third floor of Yangju City Hall, the Open Gallery is an open exhibition space designed to allow all citizens to naturally experience art in their daily lives. It provides free exhibition opportunities to citizen artists or groups who lack exhibition opportunities and operates to offer a space for cultural enjoyment to citizens visiting City Hall.
Any citizen in need of an exhibition opportunity may apply, and approximately 10 individuals or teams will be selected. Applications can be submitted via email for three days, from January 28 to January 30, and applicants must submit an application form and a list of artworks. Selection will be made through a document review and a phone interview, and successful applicants will be notified individually.
A Yangju City official stated, "The Yangju City Hall Open Gallery is an open cultural space that connects citizens' daily lives with art. We hope that many citizens will take this opportunity to showcase their works and participate in revitalizing the local culture."
