The group Alphadrive One has officially made its debut in the K-pop industry.

At their debut showcase held at Blue Square in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on January 12, leader Rio stated, "We practiced every single day without missing a beat to show our very best," adding, "We aim to make Alphadrive One known worldwide and become an 'attention-grabbing' icon that leaves a strong impression."

Alphadrive One was formed through the Mnet audition program "Boys 2 Planet," which concluded in September last year. Comprising eight members-Rio, Junseo, Arno, Gunwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyun-the group drew attention even before their debut by performing at the 2025 MAMA Awards and the 2025 Melon Music Awards.

The team name combines the pursuit of excellence (ALPHA), passion (DRIVE), and unity as one (ONE), expressing their determination to deliver catharsis to audiences on stage.

The debut album "Euphoria" captures the exhilarating moment when all eight members come together as one team, expressed through music. The members defined the album's identity as "Romantic Energetic Core." The title track "Freak Alarm" likens the members' awakening as one to the sound of a first alarm.

In addition, the album features six tracks in total, including the pre-release song "Formula," "Low Play," "Chains," "Never Been to Heaven," and "Cinnamon Shake." "Formula" serves as a declaration of unity, depicting the process of the members creating their own unique formula as a team.

The members expressed their ambitions as rookies. Junseo emphasized, "I want us to be called the 'icon of K-pop speed' who relentlessly race toward the top." Gunwoo stated, "We will do our best to create a 'K-pop syndrome' that delivers positive energy through our music."

Xinlong added, "We want to prove our skills to fans and become 'the new formula of K-pop.' When people think of K-pop, I want Alphadrive One to be the first group that comes to mind." Sangwon pledged, "Just like the lyrics in our pre-release track, we will be a group that pioneers a new path of our own."

Chinese member Arno (Zhang Jiahao) was recently diagnosed with a fracture after falling on stairs while moving between schedules. On this day, Arno appeared on stage with crutches and was unable to participate in the performance.

Arno shared, "I'm happy to finally share the song we've practiced thousands of times, but I feel sorry to the members and fans for not being able to show the performance on stage. I will recover quickly and show a perfect performance with all eight members dancing together." Rio, placing a supportive arm around Arno's shoulder, encouraged him by saying, "I will do my best to help our precious member recover as soon as possible."

Previously, groups like Wanna One and Zerobaseone debuted and gained popularity through CJ ENM's Mnet audition programs. Sangwon stated, "We promised among the members to keep growing so as not to tarnish the path paved by our seniors." Sanghyun said, "Our goal is to be recognized as 'monster rookies' through our activities." Anxin added, "I want to win the Rookie of the Year award, which can only be received once after debut, this year."

Having released "Euphoria" on online music platforms at 6 p.m. on January 12, Alphadrive One is now embarking on full-scale global activities. They plan to target the global market with the musical completeness of their albums and differentiated performances as their strengths.
