National Credit Union Federation of Korea Announces Public Recruitment for Full-Time Directors and Credit Union Supervisory Committee Member

The National Credit Union Federation of Korea announced on January 12 that it will publicly recruit candidates for full-time directors and members of the Credit Union Supervisory Committee.

The positions open for public recruitment are three full-time directors (Executive Director, Guidance Director, and Credit & Mutual Aid Representative Director) and one member of the Credit Union Supervisory Committee. The application period will run from January 22 to January 23.

Eligibility requirements for full-time directors include extensive expertise and experience in their respective areas of responsibility, as well as meeting the qualifications stipulated by the Enforcement Decree of the Credit Union Act. For members of the Credit Union Supervisory Committee, applicants must have substantial expertise and experience in finance, accounting, or supervisory work, and must also meet the qualifications set forth in the Enforcement Decree of the Credit Union Act.

The selection process will proceed with a document review and interviews after applications are received, with the final selection to be made at the General Assembly of Delegates on February 26. The term for the selected full-time directors will be from March 15, 2026, to March 14, 2030. The term for the member of the Credit Union Supervisory Committee, who will be elected through a by-election, will run from the date of appointment until March 14, 2028.
