'Bear' Seungtaek Lee has joined hands with Madcathos.

Madcathos, a premium golf wear brand operated by the global sports content company Wakti, announced on January 12 that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with Seungtaek Lee at its flagship store in Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

Madcathos is a brand inspired by Migo, the resident cat of the golf course. It features a unique worldview in which a cat obsessed with golf and believed to bring good luck roams the fairways. Through this sponsorship, Seungtaek Lee aims to combine his trademark bear-like power with Madcathos's philosophy that only those who are passionate about golf can reach the top, vowing to reinvent himself as an even stronger 'fox-like bear.'

Seungtaek Lee is a golfer who claimed his first career victory in his 10th year as a professional at the 2024 Korea Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour Lexus Masters. With this win, he ranked fifth in the KPGA Tour Genesis Points and challenged the PGA Tour Qualifying (Q) School in the United States. Last year, he finished 13th in points on the Korn Ferry (second-tier) Tour and earned a PGA Tour card, which is awarded to the top 20 players. He is the first player to advance to the PGA Tour via the Korn Ferry Tour through the KPGA Tour Genesis Points privilege system.

Madcathos actively supports tour players. Led by Shin Jiyai, who has 66 professional wins, the brand also sponsors Yang Yong-eun, the first Korean major champion, and Hwang Yoomin, who won the LPGA Tour Lotte Championship as a non-member.
