In the evaluation, Welcome Savings Bank received a score of 85.3, while Welcome F&D scored 79.6, earning new certifications. Welcome Financial Group explained that both affiliates received high marks for their stable operation of family-friendly policies in the workplace.

According to the company, the multi-child allowance and filial piety allowance drew attention as unique welfare benefits, reflecting the company’s commitment to addressing the challenges of low birth rates and an aging population.

Welcome Financial Group provides employees with three or more children up to 900,000 won per month as a multi-child allowance. If the parents of an employee or their spouse are aged 65 or older, a monthly filial piety allowance is granted. These benefits are offered as direct cash support rather than welfare points or one-time assistance, resulting in high employee satisfaction.

Additionally, Welcome Savings Bank has launched savings products offering preferential interest rates for families with multiple children.

The company also achieved results in supporting childbirth and child-rearing.

It was found that 98% of female employees with young children use parental leave or reduced working hours programs. This is higher than the overall average for newly certified companies (58.9%) and the average for large corporations (72.5%).

The utilization rate for paternity leave of 10 days or more was 100%. The retention rate for male and female employees returning to work after parental or maternity leave was recorded at 86.4%. This indicates that a stable organizational culture supporting continued employment after childbirth or childcare has been established.

A representative from Welcome Financial Group stated, “Family-friendly management is a key factor that goes beyond welfare to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the organization,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our organizational culture that values work-life balance and create a work environment where employees can plan their careers with stability.”
