Based on BHSN's Proprietary Legal LLM Technology
Software for Individual Lawyers to Launch in January
Legal artificial intelligence (AI) solutions company BHSN announced on January 12 that it has completed the development of the legal AI service "AI:Yul" in collaboration with law firm Yulchon and has launched it company-wide. This project is a case in which BHSN's multi-large language model (LLM) platform, "Allevi Astro," was optimized and implemented for Yulchon's demanding legal practice environment.
AI:Yul adopts a system in which AI precisely searches and analyzes internal knowledge assets within an isolated environment where no data is transmitted externally, in order to meet the strict security requirements and access control standards of a large law firm. All queries and conversations are not used for AI training, ensuring client information security and trust. In addition, it is organically integrated with Yulchon's existing authorization system, providing optimized AI analysis results according to user permissions, and thoroughly excludes secure documents from analysis, thereby implementing the highest level of data governance.
This service acts as an intelligent knowledge exploration partner supporting lawyers' work, going beyond simple information retrieval by allowing AI to contextually understand, analyze, and present the vast legal materials within the existing knowledge management system. The company explained that AI quickly derives the most relevant supporting materials during the process in which lawyers directly search for and verify information, thereby improving the accuracy of their work.
Lim Jeonggeun, CEO of BHSN, said, "Our collaboration with Yulchon, which is leading the digital transformation of Korea's legal market, is an important milestone that proves BHSN's multi-LLM platform 'Astro' can simultaneously meet the rigorous security standards and professional thinking systems of large law firms. Going forward, we will further expand the practical applications of legal AI through new versions of Allevi equipped with workflow-based generation features, providing legal professionals with the best possible intelligent work environment."
BHSN plans to continue enhancing its capabilities as a specialized AI platform tailored to the characteristics and regulatory environments of various industries, and within January, will launch a software-as-a-service (SaaS) legal AI solution for individual lawyers. Through this, the company aims to establish a foundation for applying AI utilization experience accumulated in large law firms and corporate environments to individual legal professionals, and to gradually expand the potential for AI adoption across all aspects of legal work.
