Dyson Launches Three New Home Appliances in Korea, Including Robot Vacuum and Air Purifier

British home appliance company Dyson announced on January 12 that it will launch three new products in Korea: a robot vacuum cleaner, a wet vacuum cleaner, and an air purifier.

The new products are the Dyson Spot and Scrub AI Robot Vacuum Cleaner, the Dyson Clean and Wash Hygienic wet vacuum cleaner, and the Dyson Hushjet Compact Air Purifier. These three new products will be available for hands-on experience at Epic Seoul on the 5th floor of The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido for 11 days starting January 22. Reservations for the pop-up experience can be made in advance through Naver Booking.

The Dyson Spot and Scrub uses an HD camera and AI technology to identify stains such as wet liquids and dry debris, and can repeat the cleaning process up to 15 times. It can also recognize various household obstacles, including cables and pet waste. In addition, a water supply system with 12 points automatically cleans the roller with heated water at 60°C every time the roller rotates. The Cyclone Docking Station automates the entire process, from emptying dust and cleaning, to refilling water and recharging. The large-capacity dustbin can store dust for up to 100 days, and the device can operate for up to 200 minutes on a single charge.

Dyson Hushjet Compact Air Purifier. Dyson Korea

The Dyson Clean and Wash Hygienic is the lightest wet vacuum cleaner Dyson has ever made. It performs both dust and wet cleaning at the same time. It is designed so that wastewater and debris are directed to the bottom of the device, and dust and contaminants are automatically separated. The microfiber roller, made up of approximately 84,000 high-density filaments, delivers a strong absorption power for a spotless, dry finish without water marks.

The Dyson Hushjet Compact is Dyson’s first compact-sized air purifier. Equipped with a 360-degree electrostatic dust collection and formaldehyde filter, it removes up to 99.97% of particles as small as 0.3 microns. Noise generated during air dispersal has also been significantly reduced, ensuring a quiet user experience.
