Daniel (real name Daniel Marsh), who was removed from the group NewJeans, is set to begin his solo activities.

On January 12, law firm Hwawoo, representing Daniel, announced that Daniel will host a "live message" through his personal YouTube and social media accounts at 7 p.m. on the same day. This online live broadcast marks his first official activity since Ador terminated his exclusive contract on December 29 of last year.

Daniel's representatives explained that the live session is simply an opportunity to greet fans and is unrelated to the ongoing lawsuit. While Daniel previously used only the group’s official accounts during his time with NewJeans, he has now launched his own communication channels following his departure. The newly created Instagram account surpassed 200,000 followers on the day it was opened.

Previously, Ador notified Daniel of the contract termination, stating that it would be difficult for him to continue as a member of NewJeans. At the same time, Ador initiated legal action against one of Daniel's family members and former CEO Min Hee-jin, holding them responsible for causing the dispute. Ador is currently seeking penalties and damages from Daniel and two others.

Meanwhile, other NewJeans members Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein have confirmed their return to Ador. Ador has also stated that discussions are ongoing with Minji to broaden mutual understanding.
