Wonju City in Gangwon Province will conduct a New Year's tour of eup, myeon, and dong districts (Dialogue Day with Residents) starting from January 12 to strengthen communication with citizens and discuss local issues.

This tour will cover 25 eup, myeon, and dong districts within the city. The mayor will personally visit each site, including visits to institutions and resident meetings, to widely gather opinions from residents.

In particular, during these resident meetings, the following will be addressed: ▲ an update on the handling of suggestions from the 2025 New Year's tour and mobile mayor's office ▲ an explanation of major projects planned for each district in 2026 ▲ open collection of residents' suggestions and opinions on local issues.

In addition, heads of departments related to major projects will attend to explain the direction and progress of these projects, aiming to enhance citizens' understanding.

Mayor Won Kangsoo stated, "This tour is not just a simple New Year's greeting, but an important opportunity for communication that reflects citizens' voices in city administration.
