Hampyeong County in Jeonnam announced on January 12 that it will implement the "Youth Internship Program" for local young people.

The county will recruit participants for the Youth Internship Program, aimed at strengthening practical skills for young job seekers who are not currently employed, until February 6.

The "Youth Internship Program" is a project that provides young people preparing for employment with opportunities to gain administrative work experience and supports them in building the career necessary for entering society.

Only one participant will be selected, and any unemployed resident of Hampyeong County between the ages of 19 and 49 is eligible to apply.

Youth wishing to participate should prepare the required application documents and submit them to the Population and Economy Division (Youth Support Team) at Hampyeong County Office.

After a document review and interviews, the county will select one final candidate, who will be assigned as a youth intern to a county-affiliated institution for up to 10 months, from March to December.

The selected youth intern will be responsible for ▲policy (project) promotion ▲program planning ▲administrative work assistance, among other duties.

A county official stated, "We expect the Youth Internship Program will not only enhance young people's employability but also help bridge the gap between the administration and youth," adding, "We hope to see strong interest and participation from local young people."
