Korean companies participated in CES 2026, the world's largest consumer electronics and IT exhibition, with the largest delegation ever, drawing the attention of buyers and investors from around the world.
From January 6 to 9 (local time), a record 470 companies took part in the Integrated Korea Pavilion at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, CES 2026. The pavilion was organized by 38 institutions, including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA). Across CES 2026 as a whole, about 1,000 Korean companies set up booths to showcase their latest technologies.
CES has continued to expand its exhibition categories, adding construction and industrial technology, beauty tech, and fashion and pet tech in 2025, and further including edutech, tourism, logistics and supply chain, and film sectors in 2026. The event is evolving from a consumer electronics and information and communications technology (ICT) exhibition into an AI-based, business-to-business (B2B) total solution showcase.
By exhibition sector, AI accounted for the largest share at 21%, followed by digital health at 16% and smart city at 11%. Notably, 102 companies participated in new exhibition categories such as edutech and beauty tech, visually demonstrating the widespread adoption of AI technologies across all industries.

Executives from global companies attending CES also visited the Integrated Korea Pavilion, expressing interest in technology and investment collaboration. The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, highlighted "Innovation Density" as the keyword for Korea at CES 2026, stating, "Korean exhibitors have visually demonstrated the entire innovation value chain, from research and development (R&D) to proof-of-concept and commercialization, on the show floor." In fact, innovative companies in AI, mobility, and digital health at the pavilion attracted buyers by showcasing the process of bringing ideas from basic research through applied deep tech to commercialization.
The Integrated Korea Pavilion also welcomed key figures from global giants such as Meta, Apple, Qualcomm, Google, and Amazon. The CEO of Bosch, who visited the pavilion, remarked, "I saw the future of eye-tracking technology, which is drawing attention from global tech companies, at the Korea Pavilion," expressing strong interest in collaborating with the Korean innovative company iChips.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA also carried out a variety of on-site marketing activities and partner-matching efforts to maximize the achievements of participating companies. In addition to on-site activities, the "K-Innovation Pitching Challenge" was held over two days starting January 7, providing domestic AI innovation companies with opportunities to present their technologies and hold individual consultations with global companies such as 3M and Walmart, as well as potential investors like Mangusta Capital and Morgan Stanley. Networking events were also held, including MOU signing ceremonies and gatherings with over 100 overseas buyers and venture capital firms.
During the exhibition, the 470 companies participating in the Integrated Korea Pavilion held 2,480 consultations on-site, resulting in 23 export and technology cooperation MOUs, contracts worth 240 million dollars, and ongoing negotiations for contracts totaling 790 million dollars. KOTRA is compiling the overall performance of the participating companies and plans to announce the final results within January.

At this exhibition, Korean companies achieved tangible results in business collaboration and export discussions with global big tech, automotive, and retail companies. In the GP Pavilion, MOUs and follow-up discussions were particularly active in the robotics, healthcare, and content sectors.
As a follow-up to the achievements of CES 2026, the "CES AI Innovation Plaza" is also planned. To accelerate the commercialization of export and technology cooperation opportunities identified at CES, KOTRA will invite CES Innovation Award-winning companies to COEX on January 21 for the CES 2026 Debriefing Seminar, AI and innovation company pitching and networking, an Innovation Award winners showcase, and investment consulting sessions with venture capital (CVC) firms.
The debriefing seminar will share technology and commercialization trends, information, know-how, and case studies from CES, along with demonstrations of Innovation Award-winning technologies. In addition to pitching sessions for innovative companies such as M.AX, on-site consultations with overseas buyers and investment consulting sessions with 42 domestic CVC alliance members will be held to attract investment.
KOTRA President Kang Kyungseong stated, "CES is the best opportunity to showcase our innovative companies' technologies to the world. This year, we especially confirmed the strong interest of global corporations and investors in our AI and other innovative firms. We will do our utmost to provide follow-up support to help Korea's AI innovation ecosystem enter the global market, prioritizing areas where our competitiveness and global collaboration demand have been validated."
