Banwol Jungang-dong in Masanhappo-gu Delivers Flowerpots to Senior Center for Emotional Support of the Elderly

On January 9, in Banwol Jungang-dong, Masanhappo-gu, Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam Province, a visit was made to the senior center to deliver flowerpots, aiming to provide emotional support for the elderly and to celebrate the New Year.

This visit to the senior center was organized by the newly appointed district head to extend New Year’s greetings, listen to suggestions from the seniors, check on the operation of the shelter during the winter cold snap, and promote healthy living throughout the winter season.

In particular, during the visit, Park Myunghee, the head of Banwol Jungang-dong, personally delivered congratulatory flowerpots received upon taking office, which greatly contributed to fostering an atmosphere of communication and harmony among the senior center members.

Additionally, the visit included pre-inspections and safety measures for the facilities in anticipation of sub-zero cold waves, as well as sharing safety guidelines with the elderly, such as refraining from going out or traveling during severe weather conditions.
