On January 9, Woori Bank announced the opening of the "Jeju Global PB Branch," a dedicated asset management channel for foreign clients with high demand for wealth management services.
The "Jeju Global PB Branch" is a newly established branch specializing in foreign clients, reflecting the growing demand for financial consultations among foreigners residing in the Jeju area. The branch offers comprehensive financial services, including asset management, foreign exchange, overseas remittance, and tax consultation.
To provide tailored financial services to each client, Woori Bank has created dedicated consultation spaces that offer greater independence and privacy compared to existing branches. This allows foreign high-net-worth individuals to receive financial consultations in a more convenient and secure environment.
In particular, for foreign high-net-worth clients who have acquired permanent residency in Jeju through the real estate investment immigration program, the branch has assigned foreign staff members with extensive customer consultation experience. The bank plans to provide customized financial consultation services that take into account not only language but also cultural characteristics.
An official from Woori Bank's Channel Strategy Department who attended the opening ceremony stated, "The Jeju Global PB Branch is a dedicated branch that integrates language support as well as consultation functions for asset management, foreign exchange, and investment, in order to stably meet the diverse financial consultation needs of foreign clients in Jeju." The official added, "We will continue to grow together with the Jeju region by providing financial services that meet the needs of the local environment and our clients."
