Gwangju City to Hold 'Dialogue with Citizens' Tour of Eup, Myeon, and Dong from January 8 to 14 to Celebrate the Year of Byeong-o

Gwangju City in Gyeonggi Province is holding the 'Dialogue with Citizens' event from January 8 to 14, touring each eup, myeon, and dong by region to celebrate the new year of Byeong-o.

This Dialogue with Citizens is organized to share the city's administrative direction for the new year through employee encouragement and New Year's greetings with local representatives, as well as to broadly listen to local issues and suggestions from daily life.


At his first stop in Chowol-eup, Mayor Bang Se-hwan stated, "As we enter the second half of the 8th popularly elected term, I aim to prepare for a new leap forward for Gwangju City together with our citizens," and added, "I will listen directly to the vivid voices of residents on site and faithfully reflect them in city administration."


The regional visitation schedule is as follows: January 8 - Chowol-eup (Gonjiam-eup, Docheok-myeon); January 9 - Namjong-myeon (Toechon-myeon, Namhansanseong-myeon); January 12 - Opo 1-dong (Opo 2-dong, Sinhyeon-dong, Neungpyeong-dong); January 13 - Gyeongan-dong (Ssangnyeong-dong, Songjeong-dong, Tanbeol-dong); January 14 - Gwangnam 1-dong (Gwangnam 2-dong).
