Dongha Kim, Former FSS Planning Team Head, Appointed as Gyeongbuk Province Financial Advisor

On January 8, Gyeongbuk Province appointed Dongha Kim (52), former Head of the Dispute Mediation Planning Team at the Financial Supervisory Service, as its new Financial Advisor.


The Financial Advisor of Gyeongbuk Province provides expert advice on overall financial policies and supports comprehensive reviews and responses to current issues during the implementation of major policies within the province.

The newly appointed advisor, Dongha Kim, graduated from Korea University with a degree in law and joined the Financial Supervisory Service, where he served in the Life Insurance Inspection Bureau's inspection team and the Dispute Mediation Planning Teams of the Dispute Mediation Bureaus 1 and 2. He is recognized for his strength in overseeing financial dispute mediation and system improvement, having gained extensive experience in protecting financial consumers and managing the entire dispute resolution process.


Advisor Kim stated, "I am pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to Gyeongbuk Province's financial policies," and added, "I will do my best to thoroughly oversee the implementation of major financial policies within the province going forward."


Lee Cheolwoo, Governor of Gyeongbuk Province, said, "We expect that his expert advice on corporate, small business, and major economic and financial issues in the province will enhance the overall quality of our financial policies."
