Digital Seoul Culture Arts University to Begin Second Round of Regular Admissions for 2026 Academic Year

Digital Seoul Culture Arts University (President: Jang Seungwon, hereafter referred to as Seoul Culture Arts University) will begin its second round of regular admissions for the first semester of the 2026 academic year on January 8 (Thursday). For the 2026 first semester regular admissions for new and transfer students, applicants are eligible if they have graduated from high school (including prospective graduates), passed the qualification exam, or are recognized as having an equivalent or higher academic background. For transfer admissions, there are options for both second-year and third-year transfers.

In the 2026 academic year, the Department of Aviation Security has been reorganized as the Department of National Defense Security and Police, and will be recruiting new and transfer students under the new name. Additionally, the Department of Baduk, which was newly established in the 2025 academic year and is the only one of its kind in the country, will only accept applications for new admissions and second-year transfers.

As a four-year university located in Seoul, Seoul Culture Arts University aims to cultivate cultural and artistic talents needed by society, serving as a foundation for structured higher education. Over the past 20 years, the university has led the way in blended learning that combines online and offline education, enabling students to receive theoretical, practical, and hands-on training simultaneously. Each department is equipped with specialized practice rooms, allowing practical departments that require on-site training to conduct hands-on sessions and special lectures.

At Seoul Culture Arts University, students can obtain a four-year bachelor's degree as well as various certifications, and there are numerous scholarship benefits available, including national scholarships. Furthermore, all incoming students are eligible to receive scholarships to help alleviate their financial burden.

The specialized departments offered at Seoul Culture Arts University in the field of future culture and arts include: ▲Department of Theater and Film ▲Department of Total Beauty Art ▲Department of Social Sports ▲Department of Practical Music ▲Department of Architectural Engineering ▲Department of Modeling ▲Department of Visual Image Design ▲Department of Social Welfare (Silver Culture Management/Social Welfare major) ▲Department of Korean Language Education ▲Department of Companion Animal Studies ▲Department of Culinary Arts ▲Department of Aviation Maintenance ▲Department of Aviation Service ▲Department of National Defense Security and Police (reorganized) ▲Department of Fashion Industry ▲Department of Practical Dance ▲Department of Baduk, among others.

Since neither the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) nor high school grades are reflected in the admissions process, detailed information about the application process can be found at the Admissions Support Center. For admissions counseling, inquiries can be made via the main phone line or real-time consultation, and applications can also be submitted through Uwayapply and Jinhakapply.
