2024 KPGA Rookie of the Year Minhyuk Song to Receive Sponsorship from Dong-A Pharmaceutical

Three-Year Main Sponsorship Deal Through 2028
Strong Performance with 8th Place in Genesis Points Last Year

Minhyuk Song, the 2024 Korean Professional Golf Association (KPGA) Tour Rookie of the Year, will receive support from Dong-A Pharmaceutical.

Prain Sports, his management company, announced on January 7 that, "Through this agreement, Minhyuk Song will carry out various marketing activities, including promoting Dong-A Pharmaceutical's brand at domestic and international tournaments, over the next three years."

Minhyuk Song claimed both individual and team titles at the Bacchus Cup SBS Golf National City and Province Student Team Championship, hosted by Dong-A Pharmaceutical to foster the next generation of golf talent, in 2019 and 2022. He also represented the national team from 2021 to 2023 and achieved a total of 15 amateur victories.

Minhyuk Song was named the 2024 KPGA Tour Rookie of the Year. He competed in 19 tournaments and finished in the top 10 four times. He ranked 28th in Genesis Points and 31st on the money list. Last year, he participated in 20 tournaments, finished in the top 10 seven times, and ranked 8th in Genesis Points.

Minhyuk Song said, "I nurtured my dream through the Bacchus Cup, and I am delighted that my dream of competing with the Bacchus logo has come true," expressing his thoughts on the contract.
