Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency are operating an investment attraction program at 'CES 2026' and the 'UKF 82 Startup Summit,' which are being held in Las Vegas and San Francisco, United States, through January 10, 2026.
As part of a global acceleration program, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is visiting 'CES 2026' on-site from January 6 to 8 with ten companies from the province.
CES is the world's largest IT and electronics expo, and this year, under the theme 'Innovators show up,' more than 4,500 companies from over 150 countries are participating. Sixty-three small and medium-sized enterprises and promising startups from the province are also taking part in the exhibition.

During the exhibition, Hyungon Kim, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, is touring major exhibition halls to review technology trends in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, semiconductors, mobility, and digital health. On-site, he is meeting with company representatives to listen to their challenges regarding regulations, investment, and partnerships as they expand overseas.
To continuously support global expansion, the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency will sign a business agreement on January 8 (local time) with the local investment platform 'Transpose Platform' for cooperation in nurturing global startups.
Hyungon Kim, President of the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, stated, "Attending CES and operating the investment attraction program in San Francisco are opportunities to understand global technology trends and expand the overseas potential of companies in the province. Based on this agreement and on-site networking, we will continue to provide follow-up support to help local companies secure competitiveness in the North American and global markets."
Previously, on January 6 (local time), the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency signed a business agreement with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA) of Virginia, United States, at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas to support local startups entering the North American market.
