Ministry of the Interior and Safety to Hold 'Open Work Reports' for Affiliated Agencies Including National Fire Agency

National Fire Agency to Broadcast Work Report Live for the First Time Among Affiliated Organizations

The Ministry of the Interior and Safety will make public the work reports of its affiliated organizations to the public.


The ministry announced on January 7 that from January 8, over three days-January 8, 12, and 14-it will conduct work reports for 20 affiliated organizations, including the National Police Agency and the National Fire Agency.

In line with the philosophy of a people-centered government that emphasizes communication with citizens, the entire process of work reports from affiliated agencies and organizations will be transparently disclosed. The work report of the National Fire Agency and its affiliated organizations, which draws significant public interest, will be broadcast live on KTV for the first time among all agencies and organizations under government ministries. The work reports of other organizations will be recorded and released through the ministry's YouTube channel.


At 10 a.m. on January 8, the National Fire Agency and five of its affiliated organizations will present their work reports. These organizations are the Korea Fire Officials Mutual Aid Association, Fire Industry Mutual Aid Association, Korea Fire Institute, Korea Fire Facility Association, and Korea Fire Safety Institute.


On the same day at 3 p.m., work reports will be presented by three organizations in the digital and safety sectors under the ministry: the National Information Society Agency, Korea Local Information Research & Development Institute, and Korea Elevator Safety Agency.


At 3 p.m. on January 12, the National Police Agency and its affiliated organizations-the Police Mutual Aid Association, Korea Institute of Explosives Safety, and Korea Road Traffic Authority-will present their work reports.


At 10 a.m. on January 14, four organizations in the public assistance, finance, and taxation sectors under the ministry-the Local Government Officials’ Mutual Aid Association, Korea Local Finance Association, Local Public Enterprise Evaluation Institute, and Korea Local Tax Institute-will present their work reports to Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Hunjung.


On the same day at 2 p.m., five organizations in the fields of local autonomy and historical affairs-the Korea Island Promotion Agency, Korea Research Institute for Local Administration, National Center for Trauma of State Violence, Memorial Foundation for Democratization Movements, and Foundation for Victims of Forced Mobilization under Japanese Occupation-will present their work reports.


The detailed contents of each work report will be communicated to the public and the media through post-briefings on the day of the report.
