Hye-min Choi Inaugurated as the 31st Deputy Mayor of Gwangmyeong City

Gwangmyeong City in Gyeonggi Province announced on January 6 that Hye-min Choi, the 31st Deputy Mayor, held an inauguration ceremony in the main conference room at City Hall and began her work.

Deputy Mayor Choi began her public service career in 1993 and has served as Director of the Northern Gyeonggi Environmental Management Division, Director of the Climate and Energy Policy Division, Director of the Digital Innovation Division, Director of the Science and Technology Division, and Policy Planning Officer, among other positions.

The city expressed its expectation that Deputy Mayor Choi, based on her accumulated policy planning and execution capabilities, will play a key role not only in the stable management of city affairs but also in advancing future strategic initiatives.

Deputy Mayor Choi stated, "Gwangmyeong now stands at a critical turning point where we must newly design the city's future," and added, "I will dedicate all the experience and capabilities I have built up so far for Gwangmyeong's greater leap forward."
