On January 6, Studio Slam, the production company behind Black and White Chefs 2, released a statement saying, "Since the program aired recently, there have been instances of personal attacks, malicious comments, and slanderous messages sent to the personal social media accounts of certain chef cast members."

The production team explained, "Such actions not only seriously damage the honor of chefs who have dedicated their lives to cooking, but can also inflict irreparable harm on the non-celebrity participants. We will take action to ensure that chefs who participated in the competition out of pure passion for cooking do not suffer further harm."

The production team also emphasized, "We are continuously collecting evidence of defamatory posts and social media messages targeting specific chefs, and we will take strong legal measures without leniency against those confirmed to have authored malicious posts or messages."

Additionally, the production team requested, "The mature viewing culture and consideration of our audience are the greatest support in protecting the chefs and sustaining the program. We ask that you refrain from indiscriminate criticism and personal attacks."
