GC Green Cross Wellbeing Appoints Siyoung Jung as Head of Research and Development

GC Green Cross Wellbeing announced on January 6 that it has appointed Dr. Siyoung Jung as the new Head of Research and Development.

Dr. Siyoung Jung, the new Head of Research and Development, is a pharmaceutical expert who earned his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees from the College of Pharmacy at Yeungnam University. He has extensive experience in research and development (R&D), business development (BD), and regulatory affairs (RA) across the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.

Dr. Jung previously worked at Hanmi Pharmaceutical, where he was responsible for formulation research, overseas regulatory affairs, and licensing and development strategy. At LG Life Sciences, he served as a clinical development team manager, overseeing clinical development and clinical research management. He then led global regulatory affairs and business expansion as Head of Overseas Regulatory Affairs and Head of Business Development and Investment Operations at Hugel. At S&B Bioscience, he oversaw new drug and pipeline development as Head of Research and Development. Most recently, he served as Head of Strategy, Business Development, and Research and Development at CHA Vaccine Institute, where he led strategies for vaccine and new drug development.
