Seven Categories Including Maintenance and Elevator Replacement
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province is accepting applications for the "2026 Subsidy Support Project for Multi-Family Housing" until February 27, aiming to ensure the safety of aging apartment complexes and improve residential environments.
This project targets multi-family housing complexes that are over 12 years old, providing financial support for maintenance costs related to shared facilities. The city will cover all or part of the necessary expenses for apartment management and safety, up to a maximum of 50 million won per complex.
The areas eligible for support include: ▲maintenance and repair of aging multi-family housing ▲installation of nighttime landscape lighting ▲installation of drop-off and pick-up shelters for infants and toddlers (Saessak Station) ▲improvement of rest facilities for security and cleaning workers ▲replacement or repair of old elevators ▲installation of safety-related facilities ▲community revitalization projects, for a total of seven categories.
Among these, the nighttime landscape lighting project is available for apartment complexes subject to mandatory management, with priority given to those located at key urban landscape points.
The Saessak Station installation project supports the installation of one shelter per complex, while the improvement of rest facilities for security and cleaning workers provides partial support for new installations or repairs to improve working conditions.
Support for the replacement or repair of old elevators is also available, specifically for apartment complexes that have been completed for more than 15 years.
The safety facility installation support project is a newly established category this year, covering facilities for preventing electric vehicle fires, automatic rooftop emergency door opening and closing devices, and flood barriers.
Interested complexes can apply through the local subsidy management system "Botaem-e." The city plans to finalize the list of supported complexes after a review by the Multi-Family Housing Subsidy Review Committee in March.
