Responsible for Cooperation with Central Government and National Assembly
Key Advisor for Political Coordination
Yoo Seokyoung, 36, who graduated from elementary, middle, and high school in Buyeo, was appointed as the External Cooperation Advisor to the Chungcheongnam-do Governor, a political post, on January 2.
According to Chungcheongnam-do on January 6, Advisor Yoo will be responsible for managing key regional issues, including representing the provincial government in cooperation with the central government and the National Assembly, coordinating political affairs, and responding to rural population decline.
The External Cooperation Advisor is a key political position tasked with communicating the province's core policies and issues to the central government, and leading cooperation on policy, budget, and institutional matters.
Advisor Yoo stated, "I will faithfully ensure the smooth operation of the provincial government and cooperation with the central government and the National Assembly," adding, "As a native of Buyeo, I will accurately convey the realities of the region and achieve tangible results that residents can feel."
Advisor Yoo has gained both central and regional political experience, having served as Senior Youth Spokesperson for the People Power Party's Chungcheongnam-do branch and as Vice Chairman of the Central Youth Committee. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Chung-Ang University and a master's degree in Global Politics from the Graduate School of Policy Studies at Korea University.
