Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation Appoints Joochul Jung, Former Kyobo Life Executive Director, as Executive Director

The Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation announced on January 5 that it has appointed Joochul Jung, former Executive Director of Kyobo Life Insurance, as its new Executive Director. His term will run for three years starting from January 4.

Jung graduated from the Department of History at Kyung Hee University and has built extensive field experience and organizational management capabilities by serving in key positions focused on sales and marketing at Kyobo Life Insurance.

Jung also served as the Head of the Busan Financial Planner Division at Kyobo Life Insurance, where he managed the regional sales organization. From December 2023, he led efforts to strengthen the competitiveness of partnership channels as Head of the Bancassurance Division.

Through this appointment, the Life Insurance Social Contribution Foundation aims to operate its social contribution programs in a more systematic manner and to further enhance the public interest role and social responsibility of the life insurance industry.
