This year's management goals include: advancing as a global leader in the field of future mobility safety, building a dense traffic safety network with no blind spots to ensure safe daily life, and providing convenient transportation services to the public through a major transformation driven by artificial intelligence (AI). Chairman Jung said, "We will support the development of autonomous driving technology and regulatory improvements, manage and operate autonomous driving demonstration cities, and promote the commercialization of urban air mobility (UAM). Through these efforts, we aim to serve as a catalyst for Korea to establish itself as a powerhouse in future mobility."

He also outlined plans to increase the number of successful projects and utilize advanced technologies. Chairman Jung stated, "To prevent pedal misapplication accidents, which are a source of public concern, we will expand the distribution of advanced safety devices, develop advanced vehicle inspection technologies, and establish international standards."
He further emphasized, "We will strengthen safety education for delivery motorcycles and personal mobility devices (PM) to create pedestrian-centered safe road environments, and we will advance data-based aviation and railway traffic safety management systems to take the lead in proactive safety management."

While strengthening the traffic safety system with a dedicated AI organization, the Authority also plans to take the lead in guaranteeing universal transportation rights. He said, "We will operate an AI-based traffic safety risk prediction system, automate vehicle inspections, and simplify tuning approvals to lead innovations in AI public services that the public can truly experience. By expanding the benefits of K-Pass, we will reduce transportation costs and provide non-discriminatory transportation services, making every effort to ensure safe and convenient mobility rights for transportation-vulnerable groups."
He also announced plans to expand the pan-government traffic safety campaign 'Safe Today, No Accidents' into a participatory campaign involving local governments, related organizations, and local communities.
