The 'Minwon-dong Rest Area' is located next to the Minwon-dong building at Gimpo City Hall (near the former smoking booth) and has been constructed as a two-story above-ground facility with a total floor area of approximately 190 square meters.

The city aimed to create a comfortable space at the center of the city hall that anyone can use, providing a multifunctional communication area where people can wait for civil service processing, as well as hold small-scale consultations and meetings, thereby enhancing convenience and fostering an open administrative environment.

Accordingly, the Minwon-dong Rest Area will serve not only as a waiting space but also as a place for civil service consultations, interdepartmental meetings, and communication between citizens and staff. Convenience has been further improved by installing vending machines and providing books for visitors.

The operating hours of the Minwon-dong Rest Area are from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on weekdays. It is closed on weekends and public holidays.

A Gimpo City official stated, "The Minwon-dong Rest Area is an open administrative space where citizens and staff can naturally communicate and discuss work-related matters," adding, "We will continue to improve the city hall environment with a citizen-centered approach to consistently enhance the quality of civil service and administrative satisfaction."
