[Photo] Superintendent Chung Geunsik Demands Reconsideration of Student Rights Ordinance Repeal

On January 5, Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education Superintendent Chung Geunsik held a press conference in front of the Seoul Metropolitan Council in Jung-gu, Seoul, to demand a reconsideration of the Student Rights Ordinance repeal. At the event, Superintendent Chung argued that abolishing the Student Rights Ordinance constitutes a serious unconstitutional and illegal act that would completely dismantle the system for protecting students' fundamental rights. He called for the Seoul Metropolitan Council to reconsider its passage of the ordinance's repeal.
