This year's Communication Festival will begin in Yangpyeong-eup on January 6 and continue through January 21 in Gaegun-myeon, touring all 12 towns and townships within the county. The event will focus on sharing the county's administrative direction and key policies, as well as directly listening to a wide range of opinions and suggestions from residents in a field-oriented communication format.

The event will include: △ an explanation of the 2026 county administration plan and major priority projects; △ guidance on key initiatives for each town and township; and △ open discussions with residents centered on pre-submitted suggestions. Through these activities, residents are expected to gain a more concrete understanding of the development direction for their local areas and help build consensus on overall county administration.

Governor Jeon Jinseon stated, "The Communication Festival is an important opportunity to directly incorporate the voices of residents into county administration," adding, "Through sincere conversations with residents, we will identify practical policies that residents can be truly satisfied with and actively pursue a communication-based administration that seeks answers in the field."

Meanwhile, the "2026 Communication Festival with Residents" will be held in the following order: Yangpyeong-eup on January 6; Gangsang-myeon on January 7; Gangha-myeon on January 8; Yangseo-myeon on January 9; Okcheon-myeon on January 12; Seojong-myeon on January 13; Danwol-myeon on January 14; Cheongun-myeon on January 15; Yangdong-myeon on January 16; Jipyeong-myeon on January 19; Yongmun-myeon on January 20; and Gaegun-myeon on January 21.

Additionally, for residents unable to attend the event in person, the county will operate an online "Resident Discussion Board" on the Yangpyeong County Office website during the same period, ensuring broad communication both online and offline.
