Uijeongbu City Recruiting Participants for Caregiver Certification Course

Uijeongbu City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kim Donggeun) is recruiting job seekers to participate in its customized job training and employment program, the "Caregiver Certification Course."

The program is open to middle-aged job seekers aged 40 to 59 who reside in Uijeongbu City. A total of 15 participants will be selected through a comprehensive evaluation of their willingness and potential for employment.


Those selected will receive 320 hours of training, including theoretical, practical, and hands-on sessions required for the caregiver certification, as well as job competency training to prepare for employment. After completing the training, participants will be eligible to take the certification exam and will receive ongoing employment support services, such as financial assistance for training fees and tailored job placement services.


Those wishing to participate can apply in person at the Uijeongbu City Job Support Center from January 7 to January 23.


Lee Bugun, Head of the Job and Economy Division, stated, "We will continue to provide and expand various customized job training programs to increase reemployment opportunities for job seekers and support them until they achieve successful employment. We hope to see strong interest and participation from our citizens."
