On January 2, the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation held the "2026 New Year's Opening Ceremony" in the main auditorium on the 6th floor of the Southern Business Headquarters in Suwon and declared its commitment to human rights management.
During the proclamation ceremony, the foundation read out a declaration of practice for human rights management, which includes specific action items such as: adherence to the principle of respecting human rights in all management activities; formalizing procedures for victim-centered human rights remedies; and strengthening ethical standards for work utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). The foundation pledged to put these into practice.
This declaration of human rights management aligns with Gyeonggi-do's ongoing emphasis on "people-centered human rights administration" and the expansion of human rights values. It concretely reflects Governor Kim Dongyeon's persistent advocacy for respect for human rights and responsible administration across the entire public sector into the foundation's management direction.

The Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation plans to take the lead in implementing Gyeonggi-do's human rights policies and standards, and to realize human rights-friendly administration and job services that residents can truly experience.
Yoon Deokryong, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Job Foundation, stated, "Human rights management is not a choice but a basic principle of public institution management. An organization where members are respected is the key competitive edge that enhances policy quality and administrative trust. We will practice responsible management so that human rights management leads to tangible results in job policies and employment services provided to residents."
